Expectations
Students are required to:
Participate Safely: by using good body control and using equipment properly
Act Respectfully: by following directions and giving their best effort
Work Responsibly: by being prepared for class, tennis shoes and appropriate clothing, no jewelry except for small stud earrings
Show Kindness: by treating others the way they want to be treated.
Behavior Plan
When a student chooses not to follow the expectations the following interventions will be used:
reminders
reteaching of expectations and conference with student
modeling to show students what the expected behaviors should look like
practice, the student will practice the expected behaviors they chose not to follow so that they will learn what the expected, appropriate behaviors are
If the problem becomes chronic the parent will be contacted
If all the above have been utilized and the problem behavior continues they will be referred to the office.
